In order to submit or save most actions made in a discussion on Kialo, users can, by default, press the ‘Enter’ key on a non-touch screen device. If desired, you can change this so the ‘Shift’, ‘CTRL’ or ‘⌘ CMD’ key needs to be held while ‘Enter’ is pressed to submit or save your action.
To enable this, first Open Your User Settings and navigate to the ‘General settings’ section. Check the box to ‘Use Shift-Enter instead of Enter to send/save’, then scroll to the bottom of the page and click ‘Save’. If this box is checked, pressing only Enter will create a new line in your draft; if this box is not checked you will need to use Shift-Enter to add a new line.
To disable keyboard modifiers, follow the steps above, this time unchecking ‘Use Shift-Enter instead of Enter to send/save’.
