Archiving a Discussion

About Archiving Discussions

  • When you archive a discussion, it is frozen and hidden from default sections of My Kialo. Users who have been invited to the discussion can still access it, however no changes can be made.
  • You should archive discussions when they are likely no longer to be useful, such as after a module or topic has been completed.
  • Archived discussions can be unarchived or deleted permanently
  • If you want to stop students from contributing to or changing a discussion but it is likely to remain helpful, consider Stopping the Discussion rather than archiving.
