How to Mention Other Participants
To mention another participant in a comment, either:
- Type ‘@’ followed by their username, or;
- Click the ‘+’ icon to the left of the comment box, and select 'Mention User'.
About Mentioning Other Participants
When a user is mentioned, they receive a notification for the comment (see: Discussion Notifications).
To notify all participants who have modified or commented on a claim, use '@reply' or '@claim'.
Participants with the Viewer role in a discussion suggesting a comment can also mention other participants. Mentioned non-Admins will receive a notification of the comment once the comment has been accepted by an Admin.
When replying to another participant's comment, clicking the 'reply' icon automatically mentions that participant and any others they have mentioned in their comment.
Note: when Marking a Claim for Review, the author of the claim receives a notification by default. It is not necessary to additionally mention them in a comment.
