About Contact Lists
In order to invite a user to a discussion or team by their username, they must be on your contact list. This helps prevent interacting with unintended users on Kialo Edu.
Users are automatically added to each others’ contact list when you:
- invite a user to a discussion or team using their email;
- are a member of the same team;
- manage a student account. All accounts managed by the same user are added to each others’ contact lists.
Reminder:
Contact lists only prevent inviting users through their username. Users can always be invited to a discussion or team by their email address (unless they have turned off email invites).
Email-less accounts can be added to your contact list by joining a team you are a member of through a Team Invite Link.
