About Link Sharing
Enabling a sharing link in a discussion allows anyone with a link to the discussion to access it without needing to be invited.
About Link Sharing
- If a sharing link is enabled, logged in users who open the discussion link can contribute to the discussion with a specified participant role. Users who are not logged in will only have Viewer permissions until they sign in or register.
- You can change the role participants have at any time.
- Be wary of students sharing the discussion link outside of the classroom, as any users with the link may be able to contribute.
- If you want students to be able to participate without needing Kialo accounts, you should also enable the Instant Access feature.
