In order to submit or save most actions in a discussion on Kialo, by default, users press the ‘Enter<\/strong>’ key on a non-touch screen device. If desired, you can change this so the ‘Shift<\/strong>’, ‘CTRL<\/strong>’ or ‘⌘ CMD<\/strong>’ key needs to be held while ‘Enter<\/strong>’ is pressed to submit or save your action.<\/p>

To adjust keyboard modifiers:<\/p>

  1. Open your User Settings<\/a>. <\/li>\n\n\n\n
  2. Navigate to the ‘General Settings<\/strong>’ section. <\/li>\n\n\n\n
  3. Check\/uncheck the ‘Use Shift-Enter instead of Enter to send\/save<\/strong>’ option. <\/li>\n\n\n\n
  4. Scroll to the bottom of the page and click Save<\/strong>. <\/li>\n<\/ol>
