See the <a href=\"https:\/\/support.kialo-edu.com\/en\/hc\/lti\" referrerpolicy=\"unsafe-url\">Using Kialo and LTI<\/a> article<\/strong> for instructions for your LMS.<\/p>\n    <\/div>\n<\/section><p>If you do not want your students to sign up for Kialo Edu themselves, you can create managed accounts for them by using the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.kialo-edu.com\/my\/managedaccounts\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\" referrerpolicy=\"unsafe-url\">Managed Accounts<\/a> feature.<\/p><h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"About-Managed-Student-Accounts\">About Managed Student Accounts<\/h2><ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>The <strong>Managed Accounts<\/strong> feature allows educators and institutions to create and manage Kialo Edu accounts for their students.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>At any time, you are able to: \n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>edit the usernames and passwords of your managed accounts;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>add or remove the accounts from teams you are an Owner or Admin in;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>permanently delete them from Kialo Edu.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Managed accounts are able to change their own passwords and avatars. They cannot change their usernames or add an email to their account.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>If creating many managed accounts, you can paste a list of desired usernames, using the syntax of one username per line if desired.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>You can download a list of the username and password combinations of your managed accounts during the setup process.<\/li>\n<\/ul><section class=\"kialo-callout tip\">\n    <div class=\"callout-icon-wrapper\">\n        <img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/support.kialo-edu.com\/wp-content\/themes\/wp-helpcenter-theme\/assets\/icons\/star.svg\" alt=\"tip\" width=\"24\" height=\"24\" class=\"callout-icon\">\n    <\/div>\n    <div class=\"callout-content\">\n        <em>Tips:<\/em>\n\t\t<p>All accounts you manage will be added to each others&rsquo; <a href=\"https:\/\/support.kialo-edu.com\/en\/hc\/contact-lists\/\" data-type=\"docs\" data-id=\"3413\" referrerpolicy=\"unsafe-url\">contact lists<\/a>.<\/p>\n    <\/div>\n<\/section><h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"Creating-New-Managed-Accounts\">Creating New Managed Accounts<\/h2><p>To create new managed accounts:<\/p><ol class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Navigate to the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.kialo-edu.com\/my\/managedaccounts\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\" referrerpolicy=\"unsafe-url\"><strong>Managed Accounts<\/strong><\/a> section of My Kialo.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Click <strong>Create Accounts<\/strong>.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Enter the usernames and passwords for the accounts to create:\n<ol class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>If you have an existing list of desired usernames<\/strong>, select <strong>Paste multiple usernames<\/strong>. Paste your list into the box using one username per line. \n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>For <strong>Password<\/strong>, select whether to <strong>Create a unique password for each user<\/strong> (you will be able to download a list of username and password combinations afterwards), or <strong>Enter one password for all users<\/strong> (you can request students change their passwords after they&rsquo;ve signed in). <\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Then, click <strong>Add Users <\/strong>to import the usernames.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Alternatively, <strong>to manually input each account<\/strong>, enter the intended username and password in each respective row. You can randomly generate a password for a user by clicking the <strong>dice<\/strong> icon.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>If you wish to add all newly created accounts to a specific <a href=\"https:\/\/support.kialo-edu.com\/hc\/about-teams\/\" data-type=\"docs\" data-id=\"559\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\" referrerpolicy=\"unsafe-url\">team<\/a>, select the appropriate team underneath <strong>Invite users to team<\/strong>.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Double-check your settings are correct, then click <strong>Create Accounts<\/strong>.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Once the accounts are created, select whether to <strong>Download<\/strong> the login credentials of the created managed accounts or <strong>Copy to Clipboard<\/strong>. Once finished, click <strong>Close<\/strong>.<\/li>\n<\/ol><h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"Editing-Managed-Accounts\">Editing or Deleting Managed Accounts<\/h2><section class=\"kialo-callout warning\">\n    <div class=\"callout-icon-wrapper\">\n        <img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/support.kialo-edu.com\/wp-content\/themes\/wp-helpcenter-theme\/assets\/icons\/alert.svg\" alt=\"warning\" width=\"24\" height=\"24\" class=\"callout-icon\">\n    <\/div>\n    <div class=\"callout-content\">\n        <em>Warning:<\/em>\n\t\t<p>Deleting managed user accounts is irreversible and will also delete all discussions the user is an Owner of.
