For Owners or Admins responding to suggestions, see <a href=\"https:\/\/support.kialo-edu.com\/hc\/responding-to-suggestions\/\" data-type=\"docs\" data-id=\"543\" referrerpolicy=\"unsafe-url\">Responding to Suggestions<\/a>.<\/p>\n    <\/div>\n<\/section><h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"h_01EX4C36BR0YV3JS5Z4XAW146F\">About Suggesting Claims<\/h2><ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>If you have the <a href=\"https:\/\/support.kialo-edu.com\/hc\/participant-roles-and-permissions\/\" data-type=\"docs\" data-id=\"508\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\" referrerpolicy=\"unsafe-url\">Suggester role<\/a> in a discussion, you cannot directly create claims. Following the same steps as <a href=\"https:\/\/support.kialo-edu.com\/hc\/creating-a-claim\/\" data-type=\"docs\" data-id=\"544\" referrerpolicy=\"unsafe-url\">Creating a Claim<\/a> will instead <strong>suggest<\/strong><em> <\/em>a claim, which a discussion Admin can choose to accept.&nbsp;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Until a suggested claim is accepted, it is only visible to you and discussion Owners and Admins.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Once you&rsquo;ve suggested a claim, you can create additional suggested claims (both pros and cons) under the original suggestion. You can also <a href=\"https:\/\/support.kialo-edu.com\/hc\/commenting-on-a-claim\/\" data-type=\"docs\" data-id=\"536\" referrerpolicy=\"unsafe-url\">comment<\/a> on your suggested claims, for example, if you want to clarify or explain a claim in more detail.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>When responding to your suggested claim, the discussion Owner and Admins can either accept the suggestion (thereby making it a regular claim) or comment on it for further discussion (for example, to collaboratively fix an issue before accepting it).&nbsp;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>You receive a notification when an Admin accepts your suggestion or comments on it.<\/li>\n<\/ul><h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"h_01EX4C3AX8YHB01MACSCXE1FQQ\">Editing Suggested Claims<\/h2><p>To <strong>edit <\/strong>your suggested claim:<\/p><ol class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Click the <strong>Edit<\/strong> button located underneath the suggested claim.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Make the appropriate edits to the claim.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Once finished, click <strong>Save<\/strong>.<\/li>\n<\/ol><h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"h_01EX4C3FVJCNEQ72Z6P5FW07AA\">Moving Suggested Claims<\/h2><p>If you find a better location for your suggested claim after you create it, you can move<strong> <\/strong>it:<\/p><ol class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Click the <strong>Move<\/strong> button located underneath the suggested claim.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>The suggested claim is copied to the <a href=\"https:\/\/support.kialo-edu.com\/hc\/moving-linking-a-claim\/\" data-type=\"docs\" data-id=\"549\" referrerpolicy=\"unsafe-url\">Kialo Clipboard<\/a> in the bottom-left corner of your screen.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Navigate to the intended new location in a discussion, and drag-and-drop the claim from the <a href=\"https:\/\/support.kialo-edu.com\/hc\/moving-linking-a-claim\/\" data-type=\"docs\" data-id=\"549\" referrerpolicy=\"unsafe-url\">Kialo Clipboard<\/a> into the new location.<\/li>\n<\/ol><h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"h_01EX4C3MC53BJ95NAD6AR0JBC6\">Archiving and Unarchiving Suggested Claims<\/h2><p>If you decide you no longer wish to suggest a claim after you have submitted it, you can archive<strong> <\/strong>it by clicking the <strong><strong>Archiv<\/strong>e<\/strong> button underneath the suggested claim.
